Tutoring

Many students throughout the world are either behind or struggling in Math due to pandemic. If this is the case for your child, this is what you need! We have designed these classes to both develop confidence and build standards-based skills using unique strategies, particularly for our kinetic and visual learners.

If you are interested in advancing your child beyond grade-level math, we can help with that too.  Michelle will provide tutoring for these sessions. We can offer both in person and virtual classes, depending upon your needs.  Michelle is a highly-skilled tutor who understands how to motivate, excite, empower, and build success, and is available evenings or weekends to serve your child. We offer this virtually or in-person.

INDIVIDUAL:  Does your child need some individual, one-on-one attention to get organized, caught-up, homework help and highly impactful STEM tutoring?  This is the option for you!  This Colorado licensed teacher in STEM can really help!  

Elementary Sessions & Middle School Math:  Sessions start at $75/session, but decrease the more session you purchase.

High School Math:  Sessions start at $100/session, but decrease the more sessions you purchase.

Chemistry is so challenging, but is truly the most interesting STEM topic once students understand and feel confident with it.  Michelle will support these sessions, as she has taught IB Chemistry and has a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science from the College of Veterinary Medicine.  These sessions will answer questions from your classes, help you with writing quality answers to questions as well as doing the math involved, which can be extensive. We will provide homework help to get that done early in the weekend so that you can have fun the rest of it.  Challenging Chemistry concepts include stoichiometry, organics (nomenclature, physical and chemical properties, biological macromolecules), isomers, polymerization, redox and much more.  You can get the support you need either in person or virtually, depending on your needs and location.

Biology is all about the language of science, what things are called and how they work.  We offer individual or group 1-hour sessions to help you or your child achieve their highest grade possible, and more importantly, to help them believe in their abilities to understand something challenging.  They become leaders in their classes, helping others understand ecology, ecosystems, evolution, genetics, physiology, molecular biology and more.  Tutoring for high school students is can be done individually or in small groups.  Michelle will lead these session, as she has taught Biology, IB Biology and has a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science.  We will answer questions from your classes, help you with writing quality answers to questions as well as doing the math involved. We will provide homework help to get that done early in the weekend so that you can have fun the rest of it. This class can be done in person or virtually, depending on your needs and location.

Small groups: (2 to 6 students) $45 per class or $40 per class for 10 session package

Individual:  $100 per session or $180 for 2 session (1 hour each).  If the cost of this class is a barrier, scholarship funds are available for low-income families.  Please contact us for details.

Physics can be very challenging, as there is a great deal of mathematical thinking involved.  Tutoring for high school students will answer questions from your classes, help you with writing quality answers to questions as well as doing the math involved, which can be extensive. We will provide homework help to get that done early in the weekend so that you can have fun the rest of it.  We will also do hands-on activities and slow-motion video to help our kinetic and visual learners see what is going on. Michelle will provide tutoring for these sessions, as she has taught high school Physics, has a Bachelor's degree in STEM and was an RF Engineer for AT&T.  This class can be done in person or virtually, depending on your needs and location.
